Brad has over 26 years of experience in Fire Services including over 23 years as Hazmat Technician III and is also well experienced in Senior Management, Hazmat, Apparatus and Logistics, Fire and Medical Response. He is a well-organized and team-oriented person with award-winning leadership abilities and extensive professional staff management experience that achieves positive and timely results. Brad is also a Red Seal Automotive Technician with extensive fleet design, maintenance, and procurement experience both in the fire service and private sectors.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services
- Chief of Special Operations – Responsible for overseeing the Hazmat, Technical Rescue, and Water Rescue Specialty Teams as well as being the primary contact for many internal and external partners for EFRS.
- Acting District Chief – Managed staffing and administration for up to six fire stations and would assume the role of safety officer, incident command and logistics at emergency events.
- Station Captain – Responsible for managing a single fire station with a priority on overseeing the Hazmat team as well as personnel, apparatus, and equipment.
- Hazmat Technician III – 23+ years including as a Chief, Captain, Instructor, and firefighter.
- Firefighter – served on the EFRS Hazmat Team since 2001 and also was a frontline firefighter on all pieces of apparatus.
- Apparatus and Equipment Procurement – Served on multiple committees related to the procurement of apparatus such as Fire Pumps, Ladder Trucks, Decontamination Units, and other response units as well as being a lead researcher on various pieces of equipment and technology.
Safety Officer and Fleet Maintenance Experiences
- Former Safety Officer for an Environmental Company with related responsibilities including the completion and implementation of becoming a COR Large Employer (OH&S Program) as well as all related OH&S responsibilities.
- Red Seal Automotive Technician with extensive Fleet Maintenance and Procurement Experience within both EFRS and the private sector.
