David’s award-winning career is highlighted most recently by more than 13 years focused on municipal and school board communications management. Over an 11-year term at the City of Grande Prairie, David held positions of Manager of Communications and Citizen Engagement and Manager of Intergovernmental Affairs. There, he oversaw development of the City’s public engagement program, activategp, and inception/implementation of the municipality’s brand.

The Principal of Write Stuff Communications, he provides writing, editing, public and media relations, branding, marketing, advertising, and communications management services. David operates as a strategic partner with clients and collaborates with graphic and web designers, social media specialists and print companies to provide one-stop service. Over the years, clients have included federal and provincial government agencies, school systems, college programs, hospitals, hospital foundations, and businesses in the hospitality and agriculture sector. A member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, he has won journalism awards with commendations while working in corporate communications at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
